The LEEF mini-grants program launched in 2023 as a community gift in honor of the JLWS Centennial.

Its purpose is to financially support individual teachers and schools within the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County School System, on projects and programs that align with the JLWS’s community focus areas of children’s literacy, educating and mentoring youth, and improving family health outcomes. Our average mini-grant is expected to be $250.

Our next application cycle will be announced later this year.
