Book Drives
The Fall Book Drive has started! Help us collect new and gently used books for children of all ages during our book drive, our greatest need is for books for third grade and younger, as well as bilingual and board books.
We do not collect: adult books, religious books, encyclopedias, cook books, self-help books, romance novels, textbooks, or used coloring books.
There are three ways to participate listed below, once you donate please fill out this form to help us track what our members donate and to apply credit towards obligations. Need more options? Email the BookWORM Chair at bookworm@jlws.org
Option 1:
Donate Books in person at headquarters, at Kim Taylor & Company (153 S Stratford Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27104), or at a JLWS event.
Option 2:
Buy books online through our Bookmarks wish lists, which contain books that our community partners have requested. Make sure to put “BookWORM donation” and the name of the community partner in the order comments section! Place the order as a pick up and we will pick it up for you! Forward your order confirmation to bookworm@jlws.org.
Option 3:
Buy books online through our Amazon wish list, but please consider purchasing through Bookmarks first. We understand that Amazon may offer some more affordable options. If you purchase off our Amazon list, have your books shipped to the address provided (JLWS BookWORM in Clemmons, NC) on the wish list. Do not ship your books to HQ! They will get sent back if no one is at the office to accept the package.
