About the Nash

The Nash

This year’s Halloween Bingo is presented by The Nash, owned by former JLWS member, Christy Cox Spencer.
Located at 840 N. Liberty St. in downtown Winston-Salem, The Nash is steps away from Robert Hall and will be giving new life to the old Win Cup Museum building. Seeing a need for a larger capacity event venue space, inspired the transformation.

“We had to close the Win Cup Museum, which we owned and operated since May of 2005, in December of 2023,” said Christy Cox Spencer, Robert Hall’s Proprietor. “This was especially hard for my husband Will who, for nearly two decades, exerted a lot of energy into preserving the history of NASCAR’s Cup Series and its roots in Winston-Salem. But, as the building sat empty, we started flirting with the idea of evolving it into something new, while paying homage to its storied automobile history.”

FAQs

GENERAL:

What is my ticket purchase supporting?

This Halloween Bingo event is more than just a night of games and festivities. It’s also an opportunity to support the Junior League of Winston-Salem’s long standing mission: to advance women’s leadership for meaningful community impact through volunteer action, collaboration, and training.

The Junior League’s community projects focus on educating and mentoring youth, as well as women’s health issues.

Proceeds from the event will go towards JLWS signature projects: BookWORM, Strong Women. Strong Families., and Kids in the Kitchen. It will also support other community programs that the JLWS is a part of, such as the Forsyth Backpack Program at Cook Literacy Model School and Crosby Scholars.

What is a bingo card pack?

A single bingo card pack includes five pages, one page for each of the five rounds of bingo. Each page has three squares of bingo numbers to play. Most people like to play one or two bingo card packs for each round, however frequent bingo players may like to play up to five bingo card sets at a time.

Who is welcome at the event?

This is an open event to the public. Everyone is welcome, but we ask that only well-behaved children ages 10 and up attend.

Are children welcome to play at this event?

Yes, however we ask that only well-behaved children 10 or older attend. We recommend purchasing the Beetlejuice package for children. Please note, this event includes Halloween themes, costumes, dancing, and a hosted bar. Use your discretion in including children. The Junior League is not responsible for monitoring children at this event.
